I can't move my widgets

    I'm very new at WordPress. My problem is that i cant move my widgets. So I can't normally use helpful plugins (like Calendar which shows my blogs better way). When I try to move my widgets them just don't going anywhere. My web browser what I'm using is Firefox 2.0.0.6. I have tried different browsers like IE and Opera but it didn't help me anyway.

    I have tried different computers too (school computer). My template is blacknblue 1.0. But I tried use WordPress Default 1.6 but it didn't.

    I hope you guys can help me.

    I forgot tell that my webhotel uses safe mode. Could this have something effect to this?

    And I haven't CHMOD the files yet. Do that have any effect if files aren't CHMOD?

    i think you have a self-hosted blog, in which case you have to go to http://wordpress.org/support to place your query. this is the forum for bloggers hosted by wp.com. please correct me if i'm mistaken.
