I can't seem to make a link work.

  1. I want to mention and include a link to Volunteer.com in the text of my blog, not in a blogroll. I think I'm following the Links instructions correctly, but no link shows up. I need help!

The blog I need help with is 60smilesproject.wordpress.com.

  3. What is the actual POST you're trying to put the link in? What exactly are you doing to put the link in?

  4. My blog has four static pages.

On the page titled "Smiles Already Submitted by a Few of Your Peers," scroll down to BECOME A VAGABOND. DISCOVER AMERICA.

The fourth paragraph of that entry reads: "To find out more about this, check out Volunteer.com or contact any of the national and state parks or the U.S.Corps of Engineers."

I'd like Volunteer.com to be a live link to the Volunteer.com site.

Here's what I've done: I've clicked "link", and filled the URL into the proper places.

Nothing appears on my blog -- just nothing.

    Thanks for your help.

  5. Nothing WILL appear on your blog if you do that. First you need to select the text you want to use as an anchor for the link. In this case, select the words "Volunteer.com" and then select the link icon and put the link in. Note that when the pop up box comes up, it already has HTTP in it, Wipe that out, and paste the link directly: http://volunteer.com

  6. Yes, that worked. Thank you so much!

  7. You're welcome.
