I can't upload images anymore. When I select an image to upload it shows an empty square which I can select or deselect. On the right it keeps saying "uploading". The older pictures in my gallery all show up fine

Upgrading their browsers was the resolution that worked for other bloggers with this issue. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
Thanks. I'm dutch. I use IE9 and never had any problems until a very recent change: now when I click on "Add media" button there is a new layout. On the international forum I noticed someone with the same problem, and I wanted to react but can't because I'm not able to log in there.

I apologize for being ignorant, but I hesitate to change anything in my browser or system. Can you explain to me why I uploaded a post just now without any problems? I only have a problem with uploading images that I want to add to my post, and I have this problem since today. My last post was november 30. Nothing has changed in my system since november 30 when I was able to upload images without problem.
I have the exact same situation as margali.

I have 3 small dogs that barely fit on my lap but they stack on top of each other quite well. lol :D One is a Pomeranian and two are Chihuahuas. I also have a sleek black cat who is about 18 years old and who has a peace pact with the dogs.

TT, I subscribed to your blog. Maybe I can learn something, although it looks very technical and over my head :D What a breathtaking picture as a header.
Do you have a site where I can see your dogs and kitty?
There is no other version to upgrade my browser to. I found a workaround in another thread. Convoluted but workable.
The issue with uploading in IE9 should now be fixed. If you still have the problem, could you please clear your browser's cache?
Let me know if anyone is still experiencing a problem uploading images in IE9 after clearing your cache. Thanks!
