I changed the width but YouTube videos still stay the same

  1. Hi! Please help me :)
I changed the padding of my blog to make the content width 640px. The text and images are now 640px, but the YouTube videos still stay the same as before, which is 600px. I can go and change every video by adding "&w=640", but there are so many videos I don't want to do it one by one. Besides, when I post a new video, it automatically have the width of 600px as well. In the CSS settings, I've clearly changed it to 640 but it doesn't do anything. Is there something I can do about this?

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is annjoo.wordpress.com.

  2. Once the videos are inserted, the size is set. You will have to either delete them and reinsert them, or edit the sizes of each.

Also, make sure that in the CSS page, that you have changed the width shown in the maximum width field for images and videos below the CSS edit area. If that has not been changed, any new images or videos inserted will be at the old width.

  3. Yes, I have changed the width shown in the maximum width field for images and videos below the CSS edit area. But when I try to post a new video on a new post, it still automatically have the previous width of 600px.

  4. Strange.

This I don't know is the issue, but for #c2, you have a width of 640px set, but there is 10px of padding on each side which would reduce the usable width in that element to 620px, and the child element, .post and .attachment , are set to fill the clear area in #c2 (no width declared. Try redoing things and setting #c2 at 700px which would give 660px clear for .post and .attachment and leave the 640px set in the max image and video field.
