I don´t advertising on my blog

  1. My blog is to provide information to children and their families. I'm pissed you're putting advertising on sex with photos about them. If you take away this advertising on the header I will eliminate this blog.

  2. If you take away this advertising on the header I will eliminate this blog.

Did you leave a word out of that? And the thread title?

You can remove the ads yourself with a $30 upgrade:

    http://support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

  3. WordPress.com does not run any advertising in the headers of blogs. Disable all of your browers add-ons and extensions, clear your browser cache and cookies http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050 and see if the header ad disappears please.

  4. With some words missing, I'm not really sure what they're seeing.

    It may be an extension.

The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.

WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read the advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all.

All of WordPress.com ads are family-friendly. If you feel an ad is inappropriate please take a screenshot of it, upload it via Media -> Add New to your Media Library. Then return to this thread to post the file name to let Staff them know it's there for them to view.

This thread is flagged for Staff attention and will be closed as Volunteers cannot offer any assistance beyond what I already posted to you.
