I have a basic blog, but recently hired a developer, what do I do now?

    I have a purchased a domain name through WordPress (DecideNYC.com) and am initially running it as a WordPress blog. I hired a designer to create a custom site and she has completed her designs. I have now hired a developer to build the back end of the site and need to know what to do next in terms of his access, further hosting needs, etc. He wrote the following: "Will you provide FTP and Database Detail so that we can host new developed files to server."

    Please advise.

    There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Also note that there is no upgrade you can purchase that allows FTP access and the ability to install themes or plugins. Those with WordPress.org installs have FTP access and can install their own themes, third party themes and plugins. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
