I have a self-hosted wordpress, and I'd like to confine the blog to a subdomain.

  1. I used WordPress 3.4 to build my website, and I finally got all the pages to look right. Now I want to use the blog functionality. I'd like to use http://blog.mysite.com for the blog functions, but subdomains require a subdirectory. How can I configure wordpress to show a blog front page when I clock on blog.wordpress.com?

Just to clarify, when I go to http://www.mysite.com, I get the template I chose, which has all the blog functions removed or disabled. Now I want to got to blog.mysite.com and have all those funcitons enabled.

Thanks for any help you have.

  2. The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
