I need to contact someone at WordPress, why is this so difficult?

  1. I need to contact someone at WordPress, why is this so difficult?

    Please help

  2. Hello there,
We are here to help. What do you need help with please?

  3. This is a peer support forum where Volunteers and Staff work cooperatively to deliver WordPress.com support. There is no phone support here. Volunteers many of whom who have been here for years longer than Staff have been on Staff answer most questions and Staff monitor. When Volunteers cannot provide the required support we flag threads for Staff attention.

There's a very helpful step by step tutorial linked to on the bottom of your Admin page at the link http://learn.wordpresss.com

All support documentation is at this link http://en.support.wordpress.com

If you can't find answers to your questions by searching, not to worry, because as I said at the outset we are here to help, your can post your questions and we will get started.

  4. Hi

This is about a post that has been deleted by the poster as a result of a liable action that was taken against him. The deleted post appears in a google search as a WordPress forum item and I believe needs to be removed by WordPress.
    The item is http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/sea-master-training-a-cautionary-tale?replies=3

  5. IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blog content does not remove it from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 - 6 months. We have no control over that at all.

I see that Staff have already responded to you here http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/sea-master-training-a-cautionary-tale?replies=3

I'll tag this thread for their response as well.

  6. Hi there - please use the formal complaints procedure as linked to in that other thread. Thank you.

Please keep in mind that we cannot control cached versions of posts that may still appear in Google search results.
