Are you aware that you require an underlying .wordpress.com blog URL so you can map from it to your domain that your purchased from GoDaddy? That's the way domain mapping operates. Follow these instructions if you already have a domain that you registered elsewhere, and you want to map that domain to your .wordpress.com blog. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
