I want my logo on the homepage only

    I use a customized Avid theme for my portfolio. I imagine that with a customized premium theme it's somehow possible to configure the site logo to be visible only on the homepage... I like the size and appearance of it when I'm on the homepage, but it stays that large on every page, and it detracts from the galleries I've set up because it's so big and bold. Is there a way I can set up the site to have the logo on the front page only? Or maybe have a smaller version set up for the pages/posts sections? Thanks for any help!

    The blog I need help with is srubenstein.com.

  2. You could tweak your CSS to make the logo smaller on certain types of pages. For example, this code would make the logo smaller on the archive page type as well as single posts and your contact page:

    .archive .logo, .single .logo, .page-id-14 .logo {<br /> width: 200px;<br /> height: 200px;<br /> }

    or to hide it completely:

    .archive .logo, .single .logo, .page-id-14 .logo {<br /> display: none;<br /> }

    You can modify that as needed for the other page types and specific pages, as needed. You can determine the page type by viewing the source code of the page and looking for the body tag:

    <body class="archive ....

    Just let me know if you need further assistance.
