I want to display Random Posts in Side Bar Widget

  1. I formerly used a theme which had "Random Posts" displayed in the side bar, it showed about 15, but it wasn't the most recent 15 like that other widget does, it was 15 random posts which changed every so often, like every refresh or every day, i dont remember which.

Anyway, i no longer use this theme and I cant remember what it was, is there a way I can add this facility to my existing blog?

The blog I need help with is bwfcblog.wordpress.com.

  2. The only one I can think of is the 'Top Posts' widget:

Hello there. I advise that you always use the searchbox because alomost every question you can think of asking has already been answered.

There is an easter egg in WordPress.com that you can employ to your advantage. Matt talks about in this post:

To use the Random Post feature...All you have to do is add a Text Widget in the sidebar with the following code:

    <a href="http://NAMEOFYOURBLOGHERE.wordpress.com/?random" title="Click here for random post">Click here for random post</a>
