I wish I could add space between my tweets in the Twitter widget

  1. Hi,

    I really wish there were a way to add space between tweets in the Twitter widget. It's the only widget that looks all a scrunched together. When you look at it against all the other widgets in my footer, it looks silly and hard to read. Please give us a way to put some space in or add some yourself to the widget!

    Thank you,
    Tracy Pease

  2. Do you have the Custom Design upgrade, or did you perhaps buy the value bundle?

  3. I bought the bundle, so I do have custom design. I don't have the faintest idea of how to use it though. I'm kind of learning as I go :)

  4. Ah, we can help with that. Go to appearance > custom design > CSS tab. In the window there, delete all the informational text in the edit box and then paste in the following code and you can click preview to see what it will look like. If you are satisfied, go back to the CSS page and click "save stylesheet" and you are done. You can edit the 10px value as you desire, but it looks pretty good to me at 10px.

    .tweets li {
    margin-bottom: 10px;
    }
  5. Wow! Thank you so much! I'm off to figure this out. Really appreciate the help!

  6. You are welcome.

  7. OMG! It worked so easily! I had been afraid to touch that tab. Thanks for advancing my self-learning a bit :) It looks awesome!

  8. You are welcome.
