Ideation and Intent photo sidebar

  1. My photos are not loading into the Ideation and Intent photo sidebar. They did when I converted the page to this theme, but photos from new posts don't load into that sidebar automatically, as they are supposed to. Can you help me understand what I need to do to make that happen?

  2. I am using Firefox 14.0.1 and I am seeing two sidebars exactly as is expected as as depicted here http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/ideation-and-intent/ and here http://ideationandintentdemo.wordpress.com/
I suggest you try clearing your browser cache and cookies. http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If required you can upgrade the browser to the latest stable version here > http://browsehappy.com/

  3. Thanks for your response. The issue I'm having is that the new photos don't show up in the sidebar. If you see a picture of 4 men in a bathtub at the top, that's actually not the most recent picture that has been added to the blog. So I'm not sure what's wrong. I did delete my browser cache and cookies, and to no avail.

  4. Do the theme description notes help?

    Sidebars
A custom Images sidebar has been built into Ideation & Intent. This sidebar will display images from the latest 10 posts that have image attachments. Up to 8 images will be displayed for each post and each image links directly to the post it is attached to.

A second sidebar is available to use, but only if you choose to do so. You can customize its display by adding any number of widgets via Appearance → Widgets. Please note that this sidebar will only display if it has been populated with widgets. It will also be hidden when viewing single posts and pages.

If it doesn't then you can search the other forum threads on this theme as you may find your answer there > http://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/ideation-and-intent

  5. No, I know what it's supposed to do - it's just not doing it. And I see that other people on that thread have had similar problems, and haven't gotten answers either. My images are attached to the posts, just as the description says they need to be.

  6. Hi again,
I'm flagging this thread so it is moved the the Themes Forum where Themes Staff can respond to you and the others who are experiencing these issues.

  7. Hi there,

I'm sorry that it took us so long to respond to your question.

To ensure the images get loaded in the sidebar, you should upload images as attachments to the post where they are supposed to be displayed. Images embedded from the Media Library are not associated with that particular post and therefore are not recognized by the sidebar.

Please feel free to open a new thread if the issue still persists or you have any other question.

  8. Hi there! My photos are not loading into the Ideation and Intent photo sidebar. I uploaeded images as attachments but still it doesn´t work. What I´m doing wrong?

  9. waylaturismo - could you please show me an example of an image or two in your media library that aren't showing up in the sidebar? Are the images attached to a post?
