At home I have IE9, and the blog looks fine.
At work, I have IE8 on a slightly wider than normal screen, and the layout is all jacked up.
How can I get it to look normal on both version of IE?
The blog I need help with is katiedaisy921.wordpress.com.
I viewed you blog using IE8 with compatibility mode disabled and there was no issue. It's only when IE8 is in compatibility mode that there is an issue.

Confirmed, issue with IE8 and IE9 compatibility mode. In my blog the problem was expressed as follows: 1. stats link on the admin. bar did not function; 2. unable to select or move widgets; and 3. in some parts of Dashboard, labels were misaligned below clickable buttons. My blog displayed properly in Google Chrome but not in IE9 so I knew it was an IE problem rather than a problem with the blog. All problems corrected when IE compatibility mode turned off.
Puzzled -- I'm not sure why you dragged this month old thread out to the searchbox and bumped above the threads of those waiting for help. Please don't post unless you have an issue you need help with or one you can provide a timely answer to.
A month old doesn't seem to be too far gone. My experience with this issue was as recent as yesterday. Pertinent threads can be difficult to locate if not properly described. My comments included more precise problem identifiers that may assist others to identify it as the same issue. The info about working with Google Chrome but not IE9 also identifies an procedure for isolating the problem.
Okay. As none of this is new to the Volunteers who regulatory answer questions here I was puzzled. Best wishes with your blog.
