   I attempted to create a text widget in a sidebar that will include an embedded countdown timer. After inputting the dates, colors, etc., into this Website (timeanddate.com) it spit out the following HTML code:

   <iframe src="http://free.timeanddate.com/countdown/i3hmhib5/n105/cf12/cm0/cu4/ct3/cs1/ca0/cr0/ss0/cacfff/cpc000/pc000/tcfff/fs100/szw256/szh108/tatMLB%20Countdown%20to%20Opening/tacfff/tptTime%20since%20Event%20started%20in/tpc000/matDay%202013/macfff/mpc000/iso2013-03-31T20:00:00/bas4/bacfff" frameborder="0" width="184" height="72"></iframe>

   I copied the above code into a text widget and after saving, it didn't appear on my site. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

   me neither. I don't know why but I thing that it is blocked by wordpress.

   We are not allowed to use iframe codes. For countdown timers you can use, see these posts of mine:
