i'm confused!!!

  1. I have a couple friends who have wordpress and they have a section that is "about the author" giving the reader a little information about that author...

i can't seem to figure out how to get mine up!

  2. Since your name isn't linked to your blog, we can't even guess at your theme. Either make an About page or put the author info in a text widget in your sidebar.

  3. You can just add a Page (not post) that says "About the Author" or whatever, and put your content there. The themes will add that page as a link.

  4. Yes, jamesewelch, is correct. Just add a "page" and name it what you would like.

    Good Luck!

  5. You can also change it so when they click your name in any of the posts, there is a little about you information there. To do this go to Dashboard > Users > Your Profile > Biographical Info.

  6. Here is a link that will help you link your user name to your blog
How to make your name link to your blog.

  7. Go to write and submit a page (We usually title it 'About' but that's up to you), and there you have a page with all your details.

  8. Remember, make it a Page rather than a post, and put the Pages widget in your sidebar. Or, if it's only a wee bit of text, you can put it in a text widget in your sidebar.
