Im having major problems with my blog thats COSTING ME MONEY

  1. .ok so basically. i have links and codes in html on my page that is supposed to go to another link, however when they are clicked. it goes to a page that says....

    http://en.wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/

why is it doing this for all of my links?????????????????????????

The blog I need help with is theworldsgreatestsolution.wordpress.com.

  2. When that happens, wordpress has scanned those links and has determined that they are against the terms of service here.

Read the document at that link it substituted.

  3. ok so how can i resolve this?

  4. these are links for my affiliate programs.. and I need them to work, its how i get paid

  5. We Volunteers cannot help you. This is between you and Staff. If you have read the page linked to then you are aware of which types of blogs are allowed and which are not allowed and end up being suspended/deleted by Staff.

In a nutshell no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted WordPress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.COM

The advertising exceptions noted in support documentation are for high traffic blogs that qualify for and are accepted into the Ad Control program, and for extremely high traffic blogs that qualify and are accepted into the paid VIP hosting program.

If you do require an ecommerce site, advertising and/or affiliate links you can hire a web host and get a free software install from http://wordpress.org Refer to > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  6. You cannot use affiliate programs here at WordPress.com: that's covered in the Terms of Service to which you agreed when you signed up. You will have to export your blog and find a new host.

  7. Sometimes bloggers think purchasing a domain provides them with the ability to monetize a free hosted WordPress.com blog. This is not so. There is no upgrade you can purchase that allows you to run ads on a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

    Important Notes Before Upgrading
    Same Rules Apply
    – The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes or plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and you will still be required to abide by our Terms of Service. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/#important-notes-before-upgrading

  8. awww that sucks ass. ok,, thank you to everybody who has chimed in, I have a way around this

  9. Not at WordPress.com you don't. As we said, you'll have to move to a different host.

  10. I agree that not reading the ToS was a big mistake for sure. The only way to proceed and have the blog remain free hosted by WordPress.com that will not result in getting you blog deleted is to comply with the ToS and policies. The alternative is to hire a web host, set up a WordPress.org install and export the content out of your free hosted WordPress.com blog into the WordPress.org install.

  11. well yea, thats what I ment..but I see they have since removed it :(

  12. theworldsgreatestsolution.wordpress.com is no longer available.
This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.

  13. yeaaaaaaaaa........................................... o well
