Image Border Removal

  1. I am trying to get rid of the borders around the images (both in the posts and on the sidebar). For some reason none of the coding I have previously found online is working.

    The blog is: blog.missiontix.com

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is blog.missiontix.com.

  2. Hi, what you are seeing is a "box shadow." Add the following to your CSS to get rid of those on all images.

    .entry-content img, .comment-content img, .widget img {
    box-shadow: none;
    }

    The selector you are using, "img" would work with the box shadow none declaration, but it would require an "!important" attribute since the theme CSS uses a more specific selector to set the box shadow.

    If you are not using it, Firefox has a web inspector built into it that can make finding CSS selectors much easier. See our "How to Find Your Theme's CSS" support page which has a a brief screencasts on using the web inspector built into Firefox.
