I still having trouble with image size. For example here:
    http://dulceiutesarat.wordpress.com/2013/09/21/ciocolatamatcha-chocolatematcha/

and probably in the second post (my blog is very young, has just two posts), here:

But appearance of images change all the time without a logic. If I leave the page (the post), when I return, other and other images become small or large.

I tried to adjust them, changing the SETTINGS>MEDIA and I wrote other numbers on medium class. I wrote 1024x1024 in place of 300x300. Is it wright what I done? Where in other child of dashboard can I adjust images size and apply?

    Thank you for the answer!

The blog I need help with is dulceiutesarat.wordpress.com.

  3. @dulceiutesarat, thanks for posting this! For cases that need to be investigated further, sometimes it helps to have a separate thread. Everyone else should post to the main thread (and let's hope it doesn't get too long!).

This might be related to your local browser cache. First, make all the appropriate settings changes, then clear your browser cache, then check again and tell me if you still see the images changing sizes when you return (they shouldn't, the images should match what is on the Settings > Media page unless you manually changed the image HTML in the past).

I wrote 1024x1024 in place of 300x300. Is it wright what I done?

That's okay. What that means is that any time an image was inserted at the medium size, it will now be displayed at 1024 x 1024. That's larger than your theme's (Delicacy) main column width, so the images won't be displayed bigger than the main column.

If you like the result, it's fine to leave it as is.

Where in other child of dashboard can I adjust images size and apply?

The Settings > Media page is the main place to change image sizes.

Note that you can select the size of the image when you insert it. See #7 in this example screenshot: http://en.support.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/image-settings1.png

Is not enough to say simply, thank you! Sincerely ! You are patient with me.

I'll come back and reply you with details (if is necessary ... something to say) , now I have to finish work on my job and in evening I'll study all you told me.

I checked quickly my blog and .... is magical!!! ...All the images look o.k. (\:D/). Thank you and thank God, now I am pretty ready for the culinary competition :D. I'm very glad for that! ... I have to upload other 31 recipes but only two will be in competition :)

I don't need larger display of images, is absolutely enough like they are now.

It's a must to say quickly, how stupid I was .... I didn't scroll down in attachment details of the image and so, I didn't saw #7 can selecting the size of the image. ... Shame on me! Sorry! ... Thank you for that link was helping indeed. :)

    @designsimply,

Thank you for good wishes! :)

Unfortunately, today, ... bad news! :(

Images display small again. I become mad with this problem!
Tomorrow I should make connection linking my blog with that culinary competition site. Deadline is on 2013.09.26 ... and I still have the same problem.

I made all the appropriate settings changes like you said, then I cleaned my browser cache (anyway, my browser settings is to clear history when Firefox closes, but I cleaned cache). The problem still unresolved.

I changed this topic status with "non resolved".
I'm really sorry! I wish "designsimply" be all the time a "Happiness Engineer" :)

    I

  7. I logged again and almost of images change from small in normal .... but forever or for the moment?

Just here still problem, the last 3 are small:
    http://dulceiutesarat.wordpress.com/2013/09/21/tochitura-de-porc-si-vita-2/

I'll go in other office building with different internet connection and I''' check from other computer with other browser see how look, small or normal. Maybe not for all the people appear small.

  8. I checked http://dulceiutesarat.wordpress.com/2013/09/21/tochitura-de-porc-si-vita-2/ just now, and the images are the correct, larger size for me. They were also correct when I checked the last time.

I haven't heard other reports of the images flipping back and forth in size like you've described, and it sounds very much like a local network caching issue to me. What that means is the network your' on when you see the small images has cached some of the pages when the images became smaller before. Now, it will take a little time for those caches to clear out, but anyone else who views the site from their connection should see the correctly sized images.

    You are right!
I checked from other computer outside and images are the correct, larger size. So, now I no longer worry ! Everything will be ok for visitors.

Please, excuse me I was like ... "Woody Woodpecker" :) before checking from others. I thought is a WordPress problem because not only me, also other members have problems with size images display (topic: "Photos have become small and off-centered").

I'm confused because from my daughter computer (the same wireless network, the same internet supplier) from there everything look correct and from my computer, not.

Display small images Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer too (both of theme). ... And about Explorer, I forgot about him, I didn' t used for a very long time ago, so no cached web content.

Small images I see just looking in some of WordPress blogs. Never blogspot blogs or any other sites. No explanation for this.

For example in my visitor blog here:
    http://amintiridinbucatarie.wordpress.com/
I see first 9 images correct, and the rest, all are thumbnail or more tiny like in mine blog.

I want to install Google Chrome maybe this action will help me.

    I talk a lot! Sorry!

  10. I'm confused because from my daughter computer (the same wireless network, the same internet supplier) from there everything look correct and from my computer, not.

In that case it could have been a local cache, or it could be something I haven't figured out yet!

I looked at http://amintiridinbucatarie.wordpress.com/ and I think they need to update their Settings > Media size settings.

I also checked http://dulceiutesarat.wordpress.com/2013/09/21/ciocolatamatcha-chocolatematcha/ and http://dulceiutesarat.wordpress.com/ again just now in a few different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and the images look scrumptious, and just the right size!

    Dear designsimply,
please excuse me I ask you but on widget support nobody answer me.

I added "Facebook Like Box" widget in primary Sidebar. I added Facebook page URL.
I marked show faces, show stream, show border and from visibility "show" and after that, "select".

My problem is why no face appear into the box. I get just 3 likes till now in Facebook page (I didn't invite yet all my friends because I'm not ready with blog settings) but Facebook Like Box added on blog don't display faces. (no faces into the box, looks like be empty).
I lost a setting somewhere? ... Or maybe in Facebook I should check something?

If you please, you can take a look over Facebook Like Box, see you? ... is empty

Thank you so much for all your advices gave to me!

Please start a new thread with this facebook question. Staff is currently away for a meet-up and another volunteer (besides me) will be able to answer your question very quickly.

Sorry, but I don't know much about facebook except for the site I do for work which has not had any problems. Do post a new topic though because I'm sure future readers of these forums will find another volunteer's answer helpful. Put a tag on it, "facebook" for example (in the right hand sidebar).

    Tess

  15. I just checked http://dulceiutesarat.wordpress.com/category/11-dulciuri-sweets/1-prajituri-cu-crema-cream-cakes/ and I see faces in the Facebook widget. It could be that it just needed a little time for them to show up.

If you need further help with facebook or widget issues, starting a separate thread as 1tess recommended is the best route.
