Image Upload -- IO Error

  1. Hey all,

I've just switched my WordPress 2.6.2 site over to a new web host. I've got my MySQL database and everything moved over -- I can add new posts and everything is almost fine.

I try to upload an image using the "Add an Image" button, and neither the Flash or HTTP uploaders work in Firefox or Safari (latest Flash, OS X). The Flash uploader tells me "IO error. An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later." and the HTTP uploader leaves me with a blank white screen.

I've done several Google searches for help -- set permissions to 777 on the wp-content/uploads directory, added a few lines of code to my .htaccess file, and flushed out my browser caches/cookies.

I don't run any plugins, have done nothing to my computer/router, and the only change is switching hosts.

    Any tips?

  2. Sorry, you're in the wrong place. You'll need to ask at http://wordpress.org/support for help because you're self hosted.

  3. Ah, gotcha.

I actually figured it out on my own just now. I feel SMART.
