   Hello,

   I'm wondering how the picture are chosen when a blog is displayed on a "tag" or "topics" page. Specifically, my most recent post is currently on page four of "gardening" (http://en.wordpress.com/tag/gardening/4/), but the image is not the most interesting, and I'd imagine that's a part of why it hasn't gotten many clicks. Is there a way for me to change the picture, or choose, before publishing, what image is used? My theme is Twenty Eleven.

   I have always thought it was the first image, but I could be wrong. It's automatic, anyway: not something we or staff choose. If you use a Featured image, it makes sense it would be that.

   This question comes up now and again. The answer is we bloggers have no input into the images that are displayed on the global tag pages.
