Image widgets offcenter & text is cut off

    For my image widgets, (the mashed potatoes and soup) the captions get cut off on the right and even though I have them sized to fit the entire width of the sidebar, there is empty space on the left of each image.
    See here
    I've tried messing with the css and changing the alignments but I can't resolve this. Any suggestions?

    The blog I need help with is thesmartcookiecook.com.

  2. The sidebar is narrower (250px) than the image widgets (260px) and there is no right padding in the sidebar. To straighten this out there are several adjustments that would have to be made, but this is the quick version that will center your images and keep the text from getting cut off. Make the following changes/adds to the like selectors in your custom CSS.

    #wrapper {
    width: 910px;
    }

    #sidebar {
    padding-right: 1px;
    width: 260px;
    }

    okay that works for the cut-off text, but now the sidebar extends farther to the right than it's supposed to.

  4. Hmmm, I didn't scroll up, but should have thought of that.

    Change the wrapper width back to 900px. The gap between the sidebar and content is going to be 10px narrower. If you want to regain that 10px of gap, decrease the width in .content by 10px.
