When I edit an image and click save, it gives me an error message and says it is "unable to save". I have tried this on various computers and it keeps giving me the same error message.

Image wont save after editing

Specifically, which image are you trying to save, and are you editing it from a post/page or the Media library?

There are quite a few, for example, image 591.jpg. I'm trying to edit them from the Media library.

Are you able to edit them successfully from within the post itself?

No I can't. It doesn't give me the option to rotate the image.

Would you please try in a different browser, like Firefox or Chrome?

I've just tried Safari and it gives me the same error message. I haven't got Chrome or Firefox, but will try them too.

Chrome doesn't work either, getting the same error message...unable to save image.

Ok, that's no good. Are you running any third-party anti-virus, security, or anti-ad software? If so, would you mind trying with those temporarily disabled?

I doubt that's the problem because I've tried on 4 different computers with different anti-virus setups and an iPad without any anti-virus software and it still didn't work.

I finally had to remove the images and save them as GIF files. Now they upload the right way around... still don't know why they didn't as JPEG files though....
