images disappeared

  I was editing my website. I had just added links to my website. This is the only change I made today. The images were there when I began my link additions.
  Then, my images were gone. What could have made them go away, and how do I get them back?

  In Media, when I look at the image, it shows that it is on the page. However, the image does not show up.
