I tried to load from URL, but it don't works on published post, although it is displayed on preview.
Then, I had to load a copy in my library and link post to it, making a duplicated post.
This is not very nice
Or may be the link not allowed by the photo blog owner?

I wonder if the mycoolrealm.com has a setting to prevent embedding of images in other sites. Some people do this by checking the http referrer and only displaying the image if accessed from the same site or directly.
I think it must be this setting, I didn't know its existence.
I will delete the image loaded by URL.

Then I understand I can copy the photo in my media library and publish it, without modifications, in my blog.
And with a link to original, of course.
@ludusnaturae: Maybe you're looking at a cached page. The image URL gives a 404 (not found):

It's changing continually. may be the author is still editing.
I'ĺl change the link to my media library. Attribution is below the image.
