Images just started appearing washed out...

I have been working on a post over the past few days and just added photos. The images appear washed out. I tried doing some searches on this topic and I have added all of the photos as original size and did not do any post processing in wordpress. In my last post all of the images are fine. Not sure what happened but I'd love to fix it before posting. No food looks good washed out. Images are jpgs.

I'm using the forever theme and have not published this post yet. I'd rather not publish until this is fixed. I've tested new posts and tried uploading different images and the result is fine when I use my own images. The problem is with the jpgs from the client. Any thoughts on the photo format or what could be wrong? any help appreciated

The blog I need help with is thelovelyladybaker.wordpress.com.

  2. This is not theme related. Are you uploading HUGE images directly form your camera? Images you re-size after uploading into your WordPress.com blog lose some color and sharpness. If you want the best image quality and you don't want to waste your upload space or your time and energy troubleshooting images then pre-size them offline to fit and then upload them into your blog. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/03/26/cropper-or-proper-image-preparation-2/

These are the accepted file types:
    .jpg/.jpeg
    .gif
    .png
