Images on Blog

  1. Hello,

Did some searching but not quite certain how to correct this. Using Chaotic Sould theme on my blog and want two things changed:

    1. The date and time of each post to be displayed next to the post title
    2. Images to appear in some size (small or medium) on the blog page. (Right now you can only see images in a post by clicking on the post title.

    My blog: http://jonathan-vandenberg.net/blog

What I want the date/time and images to look like: http://ninblogs.wordpress.com/

Thank you very much for any assistance.

    Jonathan

  2. Your blog isn't hosted here at WordPress.com. You might try the forums at WordPress.org. In the meantime:
    1. look for a theme that displays date and time of post.
    2. the images on your blog look fine to me (using FF3).

  3. Thanks for the reply.

    1. Chaotic Soul is supposed to display the date/time. The http://ninblogs.wordpress.com/ is the same theme as mine - ch aotic soul. Trying to figure out what's wrong.

    2. When you go to http://jonathan-vandenberg.net/blog you can only see the images from the most recent post. You cannot see the images on older posts. There is an image on the "RIP" post, but you have to click on the post link to see it. I want all the posts to show images on the blog's main page, just like this one: http://ninblogs.wordpress.com

I don't imagine whether or not my blog is hosted at wordpress has anything to do with this. If it does, please let me know.

  4. seems you changed the theme much more than i did with ninblogs, i'd say you "killed" the date/time when you added/tweaked the css code. maybe the same with the way it displays older posts. if you changed the html, you really need to look for help on wordpress.org, since we can't check stuff like this.

  5. xanthippe - Any chance you could email me the css code you have for your stylesheet, archives, and page template? You can email me here: http://jonathan-vandenberg.net/contact.html

    Great site.

Actually, it does. We run different software here. The theme versions here are different from those available for download. And we don't have access to the underlying files. These are good, solid reasons for there being two separate support forums. Since you are self-hosted, you should be over at the self-hosted forums, which are located at http://wordpress.ORG/support?

  7. Thank you.
