Images Stretched

  1. Why do my images appear stretched on some computers, but look totally normal on others (like my home computer)?

The blog I need help with is theadmirableadmiral.wordpress.com.

  2. There's a possibility that some people have their displays in the wrong resolution. Most likely reason people do this is due to font illegibility and using the wrong method to increase font size. If someone with a widescreen monitor runs a screen resolution intended for standard screen monitor, you can expect stretching, for example.

  3. From experience: on Firefox, images appear okay, but on Internet Explorer, they may appear stretched if they exceed the maximum image width for your theme:

  4. Thanks very much, this seems to have solved the problem! But the photos I've already uploaded still appear stretched.....

Do you know if there is some way I can alter all the photo width's without having to go and click on every single one?

Thanks again for your help and quick response!

Hmmm, this seems to be a problem with your browser. I recommend to use Google Chrome as your Default browser, or use Firefox. I don't recommend using Internet Explorer, Internet Explorer is a very bad browser these days.

  6. @kberesford: Not that I know of, sorry.
