Import 2 WP blogs into new WP blog as 2 pages AND make new posts in each

  1. I'm setting up a new site (cmdaphiladelphia.org - private for few more days) and need to do the following:

    1. Import my posts and accompanying images (but not all pages - just the posts) from 2 separate WP.com blogs (transforminghealthcare.wordpress.com and medicaltransformation.com (has custom domain) into the new cmdaphiladelphia.org blog.

    2. I want each previous blog to have its own separate page within the new blog, accessed from the top menu.

    3. I'd also like to be able to add new posts to each page, and, do not want either page to be my home page since I'll be using that for other purposes.

Please let me know how to proceed - haven't been able to figure it out yet!

    Thanks so much in advance,
    Bryan

The blog I need help with is cmdaphiladelphia.org.

  2. Hey WP community! I know this one is a bit more complicated, but let me know your thoughts - thanks in advance!

  3. Hi everyone - I still need help on this one. Even a link on how to do it would be very, very helpful. Thanks!

  4. Firstly you can import your old WordPress blog's content into the new WordPress blog
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/#importing-content-from-another-platform-or-wordpress-blog
Second and third are not possible here on WordPress.com
You can not have multiple posting pages here on WordPress.com

A suggestion: You can categorize posts of blog 1 in a separate category and posts of blog 2 into a different.
Then create a Custom menu to add category pages. This will put categories in the tabs along with other pages. On clicking those categories they will look like those were posted under the page separated from homepage.
