I am new to wordpress. My requirement is, I have some static html pages and I want to import them to my wordpress website. can anyone please hlep me how to do this? I have already googled about this, but I am not successful. By mistake, I have posted this query in wordpress.org and came to know that .org and .com are different. Hence posting it here. Please help me in importing static html pages to my site.
The blog I need help with is knowcitrix.wordpress.com.
Basically, you can't import the pages themselves. You can copy and paste the text, and copy and upload the images, but the layout will be different.
oops, I almost have 103 pages.. it would be better to create fresh site rather than copy pasting all the html pages... dont we have any feature to import??
You're lucky: I'm dealing with some 750 odd pages...
So I too, wanted to know if there was an import option, I could then fine tune to my requirements...
Any suggestions?
