Import via "Import WordPress" xml file is stuck over 24 hours

    I have been importing xml files exported from an old wordpress blog into a new address located at http://thecavernofthebeast.wordpress.com and the particular file I am appears to be stuck. For the past 24 hours the impost WordPress screen has continued to read: "Import WordPress
    Processing…

    We're processing your import now and will send you an email when it's all done. If you don't hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we'll get everything fixed."

    I believe I need this resolved outside of my means. Thanks!
