   Hi, I'm trying to move a wordpress.com blog to a self-hosted WordPress site. When I import the exported XML file from wordpress.com (saltandserenity.com) it doesn't import all the files, nor does it import the media files. I've tried splitting the XML file into 3 chunks, but had the same issue. There is no size restriction on my new server.
   I need this moved over for a client ASAP. Help?

   The new server is here: http://cpanel4.tomahawktech.com/~saltands/

   I'll switch over to the new domain once the new site is up and running.

   Also, how do I transfer the subscribers/followers to the new blog?

   The blog I need help with is www.hilarylittle.com.

   Hi there,
   When you do a complete export and then import the exported XML file there is a prompt asking if you wish to include the attachments. The attachments are your images and other media.

   Thanks, Timethief. I should have mentioned that I had that box checked for all import attempts.
