In a Page, how can PDF files appear opened or open automatically in a separate tab?

1. My PDF Files appear as a link. Is it possible to import the PDF file in the Page and HAVE THE PDF open directly for reading in the Page?

If not possible

2. Is it possible to have the PDF file open automatically in a separate tab when one clicks on it? At the moment, I only manage if the reader uses a right click of mouse.

Both of these behaviors are actually part of the browser. Some browsers with built-in PDF readers, like Safari and Chrome will actually load the PDF in the browser, but other will download the file.

Alternatively, you can actually embed a readable PDF file if you use Scribd: http://en.support.wordpress.com/scribd/
