In Need of a Gaming Layout

    I looked through all the themes and you guys don't seem to have a gamer layout yet. I went and looked for a couple hours and found the best looking one I've ever seen. I was hoping it could get added so I could install it on mine.

    Nevermind, crappy support here obviously. I just installed it on a server. Thanks for nothing wordpress support. ;)

    Questions for self-hosted sites have to be asked on the Worpress.ORG forum. http://wordpress.org/support/

    There software here at WordPress.COM rums differently.

    And I'll add this so I don't seem impatient, even if you were going to tell me no it doesn't take 2 hours to do it.

    You're on the Themes section of the WordPress.COM forum which tends to be slower than the usual quicker sections Support & Off Topic. And from what I've seen said here throughout the years, questions here on the WordPress.COM forum are answered more quickly than where you should be at the WordPress.ORG forum.

    It wasn't a question about a self-hosted site, I was told by this site to suggest a theme that I'd like added to their pre-installed themes (Seeing as it's the only way to install a theme unless it's self-hosted). I did so and was neither told yes nor no in 2 hours, imo plenty of time.

    The blog linked to your username is a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM. Surely you read the sticky post at the head of this forum and you clearly understand that we bloggers cannot INSTALL any themes on wordpress.COM blogs. And you also inderstoof thaform reading that post that wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORGrun on differnent software, right?

    There a millions of wordpress.COM bloggers. Surely you did not expect wordpress.com theme Staff to drop their work, adapt a wordpress.ORG theme so it could run on this wordpress.COM software and have that all done in 2 hours just for you, right?

    The ONLY theme we can use on wordpress.COM blogs are found here > appearance > Themes

    We can request that Staff adapt wordpress.ORG themes so they can be coded to run on wordpress.COM and this of course takes time, presuming they do agree that the theme is suitable and will appeal to many other wordpress.COM blogger too.

    As as there a millions of wordpress.COM bloggers, surely you did not expect wordpress.com theme Staff to drop their work, adapt a wordpress.ORG theme so it could run on this wordpress.COM software, and have that all done in 2 hours just for you, right? Because that would be an unrealistic expectation.

    And I was merely looking for a reply, so I stand by my statement, user support sucks. I'm on the Support Team with LiteHQ and we're not even 100th the size of this website and get our questions answered faster than that. And it seems like there are just as many support threads here as there are at LiteHQ lmao. With this big of a company you would just expect better support.

    Well, we're at a bit of a disadvantage at the moment because official WordPress.COM Support is closed for the big annual get together for all the Automattic folk. There's an announcement at the top of this forum, if you'd like to look.

    And since you signed up for WordPress.COM all of 10 hours ago, I wouldn't expect you to know how the forums here work. For the most part, this is a peer group forum with Staff looking in normally on a regular basis. So under the circumstances, two hours to wait for an answer isn't so awful.

    But as you've moved on to being self-hosted, you can continue your questions about your new install over at the support forum for WordPress.ORG, which is located at http://wordpress.org/support/
