How do I automatically increase the space around an image that I place in my text?

  2. Look what i found when searching the forums for "image spacing text":

FYI, in my experience the spacing around images seems to be hardcoded into certain themes, and no amount of HTML tweaking will fix it. Regulus, for instance, does very nice spacing if you align the image right, but terrible if you align left. Try the work-arounds in the above threads to see what works best for you.

  3. I control the placement of and spacing around my images by inserting an align= and style="padding: " in the img html. Tedious, but it works.

  4. You should be able to do it with the rich text editor in Visual mode if you click on teh image. I believe it's one of the options.

Either that or get the CSS upgrade and add it into the CSS.

  5. @DrMike:
you can set it in the visual editor, but then it gets overwritten by the theme's code :(

  6. It DOES??? I do that all the time in Dusk with no issues at all. The only place I can't use it is in text widgets.

  7. I believe it's theme dependent. Setting it in the visual editor works on some themes but not on others. If it doesn't work then you're back to either adding a border prior to uploading or purchasing a css upgrade.
