I run an art blog and when I make a post I put each of them in a category such as portrait or painting etc. I have text and an image for each post. In the side bar I have a list of categories for people to view but if you click on say 'portraits' the post will come up in the list of posts in that category along with the text in that post, but the image is missing until you click on the post itself. Is it possible to show the image as well as the text when you click on the category 'portraits' In other words display the images and the text in the same way you view them in the main posts page.

  2. n the majority of themes, posts on category or monthly archive pages show up just as they do on the main posts page. But in some themes only the beginnings of posts are shown, and in a few themes you only get titles or thumbnails. ... 3. In some themes [like Comet] you can override that by using the Excerpt function. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/full-posts-in-archive-pages/
