Insert script in text widget

    I'm trying to insert the following script in text widget
    <script src="http://blogger.grazia.it/images/blogger/js/badge.js?blid=0" blid="0" name="grzscript"></script>
    without any result. Why?

    The blog I need help with is pattibum.wordpress.com.

    We cannot use JavaScript on free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascript
