inserting a post in chronological order

  1. I have just started a blog, and notice that, having forgotten to add one post which should have been dated 7th October and then adding it as an "afterthought", it is now out of sequence. All the other posts are in date order, but the new post dated 7th October, is out of synch and appears on the bottom of the list, below the entries for September. Can I rectify this, or do I have to post all the entries again?

Any advice would be gratefully received

The blog I need help with is igc324.wordpress.com.

  2. The default is UTC time but you can change it to your own date and timezone on this page > Settings > General
You reset it to your own timezone by selecting the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click "save changes".

If that doesn't correct the issue then you could have a sticky post issue > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts

  3. Note also that you can edit datestamps. I know you aren't scheduling a post but look closely at the images so your can see what to click to do that editing > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/
