Inserting an image between blogroll categories

    Is it possible to insert images between Blogroll categories? My blog has a long blogroll and I’d like to break it up with images to improve the appearance.

    Hi. I don’t think you can do that on a blog hosted on WordPress.COM, but you can certainly have more than one blogroll:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/

    One suggestion is to use “links categories” to break up your links. If you assign categories to your links, the links widget will list the links categories with the links associated with that category below the link category title in the widget.

    And following what @tsp said, you can insert any kind of widget between those Links widgets, including an image widget, a text widget, etc.

    If I remember correctly, there are one or two themes that display the links in a blogroll in one go and won’t allow you to break them down by category. If it happens that you are using one of those themes (since you haven’t given us a link to your WordPress.com blog we can’t know), you could also manually write your links in a few text widgets instead and insert them in your sidebar where you wish.
