Inserting Facebook button in editor (not widget)

Facebook has the plugin code for buttons in html5, XFBML, Iframe, and URL; but I cannot get the buttons to load when I put the code in my text.

    This is the site:
    https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button

Is there any way to do this, as I would like I like and a share button for FB.

    Thank you very much,

    Stephen

The blog I need help with is the-life-study.org.

    Hi Stephen,

The HTML5 and XFBML require the inclusion of the JavaScript SDK to be placed right after the opening <body> tag for it to function correctly.

Your best bet would be to use the iframe code in the Text editor.

Let me know if that works and if you have another example.

All iframe codes are stripped out by the software to preserve security, as this is a multiuser blogging platform.

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

I tried the Iframe and it did not show up as I think timethief was alluding to.

Collinsinternet, when you say the javascript SDK right before the opening, could you describe how to do that in more detail please?

What I was hoping for is a facebook like and share button, as the current integration only allows for a like button as a widget but not both. There is a facebook like box for the entire facebook page, but I was hoping that people would have a choice of either sharing or liking the particular post. Any insight into this?

    Thank you!
