Inserting multiple galleries in one post

  1. Theme: Twenty Eleven

I read several posts here on how to insert multiple galleries. One is to store the images in another post and cut and paste the code into the HTML editor. Another was to use the "exclude" code. I'm a beginner and still having trouble understanding (even after reading a few times).

I found this website and wondered if there are any reported problems from using the plug in? I thought I read that plug-ins were not permissible with wordpress.com (only wordpress.org)?

The plug-in does sound more user friendly to me, at least for the time being.

    Thanks in advance.

The blog I need help with is cravingthis.wordpress.com.

  2. There is no FTP access to our WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install plugins. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  3. Thanks for the links and info. I forgot to add the website that contained the plug-in. I went back to re-read the url and it does state wordpress.com?

Perhaps it's an unintentional use of wordpress.com?

  4. 1) The URL of the site says ywordpress.com, not wordpress.com.
    2) Even if it was a wordpress.com blog, that doesn't mean that its content has to refer to wordpress.com blogs.
    3) As timethief said, wordpress.com blogs don't support plugins - period!

  5. Justpi - I wasn't debating timethief's reply, she has been extremely helpful and patient, I just wanted confirmation. As you both know, I'm new to all this.
