inserting multiple pictures

  1. Greetings, I hope all is well.

I wish there was a way to insert multiple pictures into a post all at once. I know I can upload all at once, but I want to upload and insert all at once. All the same size -- medium or full size for instance. Once pictures are there, they are easy to moved around and arranged -- that's no problem. I just wish I could load all into a post after "Adding media" one time.

Am I missing something? I don't think I am. I tried the gallery feature, but that wasn't the look I wanted. I want to be able to place picture beside text.

  2. I know this has been talked about before -- and recently too. The solutions or work-arounds that I have read don't seem to work for how I post.

I think I will just go sit in a corner.

  3. Have you tried gallery?

  4. arifsali...... ?
I hope all is well. But..
I honestly don't know what to say. I appreciate any and all help, but you obviously didn't read my opening post.

  5. Accept apologies. I see what you're saying now. Someone has suggested earlier that you open two browser windows and drag the links, it has not worked for me well. The blog editor box does not give much freedom to sort and arrange. I personally arrange my multiple photographs in Tables, that way I can use caption and have my photographs according to how I want, but I have to play and test in HTML and it is not very quick.

Another question, have you played with Windows Live Writer?

I tried the two browser window work-around, and it didn't work for me either. I have used Windows Live Writer some. Not enough to know if it is the solution I'm looking for. I think I will look at it some more.
By the way, you have a nice looking site.
    Take care.

  7. And who said you can't have galleries WITH wrap-around text?

    <span class="alignleft" style="margin-right:12px;margin-bottom:7px;">[gallery columns="1" size="medium"]</span>YOUR_TEXT_HERE
Obviously this is for gallery to the left, text to the right: you can use "alignright" and "margin-left" if you want it the other way. And you can change the relevant numbers to adjust the space between gallery and text.

(Also, because it's me who has suggested the drag&drop method, what exactly didn't work for you?)
