   Hello,

   I\'m having installation troubles. I\'m trying to install the Jetpack on http://www.netikka.net/catsonfire/wordpress/. I get the following message when trying to connect wo wordpress.com:

   Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. couldn\'t connect to host

   I\'ve checked the http://www.netikka.net/catsonfire/wordpress/xmlrpc.php file and it is okay. It seems my host is simply refusing to connect, no timeout or nothing, just straight denial.

   Could you try to disable all other plugins and reactivate Jetpack. This way we can see if other plugins interfere with Jetpack.

   Also make sure you are running the latest WordPress and Jetpack version:
   http://www.wordpress.org
   http://www.jetpack.me

   Hello,

   Yep, already did that, but it didn't make any difference. I have also installed the latest versions.
