  1. Hi I am totally new at this

I am trying to install WordPress on my mac via this video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-f962hvUOlQ
But I am stucked at 5:25.

I can't connect to localhost via Google Chrome
    I always get the message:
Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to localhost
    Did you mean: localhost.net

Same when I try with Safari.

Mamp and my internet are working fine.

    Thank you for your help

  2. Hi there,
Here at WordPress.com we provide support only for the blogs that WordPress.com hosts. We don't provide support for local installs of WordPress.org software. That support is here > http://wordpress.org/support/ You can register a WordPress.org username account on the top right hand corner of that page and then you will be able to post to the correct support forum.

  3. Hi Thank you for your answer!
My domain is under .com Is there a wordpress.com software? Because I think that I downloaded my software via WordPress.com...
I know that in the video they are showing the steps with the .org version but aren't the steps the same for the .com version of the wordpress software?
If it is not the case could you please refer me to a tutorial that shows the steps of installing the wordpress.com software?

    Thank you!

There is no WordPress.com software you can install.
The only software you can install is from WordPress.org.
