I have a couple of issues. I haven't been using wordpress so regularly, although I wish to use it now more than ever. I just want to know how do I integrate twitter and facebook buttons to my blog site? And, what is the procedure to purchase a domain and generate income? Can it be done through wordpress?

You can purchase a domain by following the instructions at http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/
However, we're not so keen on monetisation here at WordPress.com so, you might be more suited to a self-hosted, WordPress.org powered blog.
