I added IntenseDebate and downloaded their WordPress Plugin in Zip format9, instructions state I am to add these files to a plugins folder subfolder intensedebate. I read that WordPress installs and configures plugins for me that I do not need to worry about it. The big come on intensified at IntenseDebate that I was responsible for the plugin so what am I suppose to do now to install that plugin?
The blog I need help with is jonalist.wordpress.com.

There is no FTP access to WordPress.com free hosted blogs. We bloggers cannot install any plugins. Those are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

There is no upgrade that you can purchase from WordPress.com that provides FTP access , the ability to install plugins, third party themes and software into free hosted WordPress.com blogs. If your require plugins you must hire a web host and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Answer: Seems WordPress makes statements like Obama completes his, nada, course then that explains what a Nounce is to without true meaning how could WordPress actually deal with a real world that is being ignored totally in regard to what is suppose to be their blog. OI own a domain name but there is no server for it to run that or I would not be here on WordPress doing this bolg.

If you are referring to this blog http://jonalist.wordpress.com/ then you cannot add the Intense Debate commenting system to a free hosted WordPress.com blog. It's a WordPress plugin. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them.

Specific instructions gave WordPress Plugin install as folder name as into the WordPress Plugin directory in their installation, wp-content/plugins/ and a subfolder name as /intensedebate/, however, an installation can be configured for wp-content/plugins to be moved, so you must use WP_PLUGIN_DIR and plugins_url() for absolute paths and URLs. Since WordPress actually wrote this plugin and then stole the rights of users to actually add it to a webpage I think the bundled joy given by Help is annoying. Why would WordPress simply deny that their responsibility is to write, install, and officiate plugins when then can't even do that without having to unzip the downloaded plugin in a wp-content/plugin/intensedebate/ folder because if WordPress could run a zipped plugin all users would need to do is to upload a file to the media folder and rest assure WordPress could then mange its content and usage as it were added to a page with PHP Code giving the proper URI_Of_Page_Describing_Plugin_and_Updates zipfile. I am ending this question, if WordPress produces a good answer contact me via e-mail otherwise I see this issue as a SPAOM TRAP FOR USER MANIPULATION & DOMINATION.

Miss your missing my point, this has a PHP edit for webapage content which is to locate where the plugin is initially located, it don't ave to have a WordPress FTP site to be located at, a media folder location would suffice to add to the PHP Edit stashed in the webpage code I DO EDIT MY BLOG http://jonalist.wordpress.com/ NOT WORDPRESS. This is the point I am disgusted with being ignored by WordPress, called a NOUNCE, and pointed in the direction to build another blog on my own rental server not WordPress Blog.

Thanks for the support. I end this attempt to reason what the site IntenseDebate has stated about the <PHP Code for the webpage edit locating the plugin zipfile. I can't see all spelling errors, this computer types when I don't.

Miss, we all can control our computer files, this NetGear Router allows me to share and I do have a FTP Address for sharing with others thay can access my router USB STORAGE also using HTTP If I give them the URI. I could install in a folder on my USB STORAGE so what did WordPress know about this NADA. Just like Obama WordPress is ignorant and I am not a NOUNCE.
