   When I attempt to go to wordpress.com I get the message below and am unable to access the page to login, or see the home page. I have to get to the page through the link to my blog. That's fine, but I also cannot access anything under the link under the W at the upper left. It is very inconvenient as I always have to get to my dashboard through a back door. I also sometimes get a message that I am reaching an unexpected page and that it is considered dangerous. I have tried using https as well as http.

   The requested URL "/", is invalid.

   Let's clarify a few things: you get this message when you are not signed in and you try to go to http://wordpress.com right?

   Hi Raincoaster. Actually it was happening all the time, whether I was signed in or not, and with both Chrome and IE. But I think it might have been an issue with Windows 7. Installed the latest updates and restarted and now everything seems fine. Will let you know if it crops up again.

   Great, thanks for reporting back. We've seen a few similar reports and now we can ask them to update Windows to fix things.
