Is AdSence in WordPress posible?

    Hi I'm tryng to add AdSence Advertising to my blog. I need to add some html code into my blog, i saw a lot of people (on youtube videos) adding it in a normal text box. But in my case it doesn't work. Why is that?

    I am sorry, but advertising at WordPress.com is not allowed. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
