Ya I like writing it but really? does it just come off as some soppy BS? Is there any quality worth pursuing? I guess I'm having confidence issues.

Yes, I agree and I've read your work for awhile. Of course the central thing is that doing this is an important part of your grieving process. It's a very healthy way to help move forward and heal while doing honor to your girl and the life and times you shared. You inspired me at least once directly to write about a man from my childhood who I miss every Easter. (I'm afraid I was so busy that week I forgot to tell you, but I'm glad to have the opportunity now.) The post is about death, but also much more, like your work.

Thanks for the encouragement. I think it might be normal to second guess on stuff like this and maybe that's what I do sometimes.

You are doing a great job of being authentic and that's what counts. I can hear you clearly and "feel" your grief through the words. I have some experience with both chemo and the grieving process and I encourage you to keep writing. To your memory and your memories of your girl remain true and gradually move forward.
