Is it possible to add a store?

    Hi there! I currently have a few free WordPress blogs, the main one is http://www.thezonemag.wordpress.com but this question isn't really for me. I am helping someone set up a blog for their business but they would also like to incorporate a store. Is it possible to add a store (with a paid upgrade I would assume) via WordPress? I haven't been able to find anything so I assume not but I wanted to ask before we gave up and went another route.

    No I'm sorry but there is no paid upgrade for what you want at all. No upgrades change the fact that e-commerce isn’t currently possible here at WordPress.com as our free hosted blogs cannot be equipped for ecommerce transactions at this time. If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality, there are no restrictions on e-commerce if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a free hosted WordPress.com blog.     No, it's not built in but there are many options to add a store.
